A Conversation: Celebrating Many Festivals of Light - led by Anita Diamant and Rabbi Devorah Jacobson.
Anita Diamant is the acclaimed author of 11 books, including the best-selling and award-winning novel, The Red Tent. She has written six books on contemporary Jewish life, including How to Raise a Jewish Child and Living a Jewish Life. Rabbi Devorah Jacobson is the Director of Pastoral Care at Jewish Geriatric Services in Longmeadow.
Parents, grandparents (and in-laws) have different experiences, expectations and memories about what these holidays mean for them and how they should be celebrated. This event is an opportunity to reflect and learn about how you would like to create your own traditions for your family. Explore what is important to you and what values you want to pass along to your children and grandchildren.
