Rosh Hodesh: It's A Girl Thing!

Rosh Hodesh: It’s a Girl Thing! is the first Jewish program to pro-actively address two issues; many girls drop out of Jewish programming after bat mitzvah; and girls’ self-esteem plummets in early adolescence.

At JFS, sixth and seventh grade girls meet monthly, as they learn to navigate the complexities of adolescent life, build self-esteem, develop leadership skills and Jewish identity. 

Groups meet on Sunday afternoons.
