JOIN JFS for the workshop Home Your Own Way: Should I Stay or Should I Go?

Springfield – Join us on Thursday, October 24th, 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., for the workshop Home Your Own Way: Stay or Should I Go? This is a question many of us begin to ask ourselves as we grow older: Should I stay in my longtime home or choose another place in which to age?

This workshop will help you:

• Make a plan to start the conversation about where a senior loved one or you would like to age.

• Discover the home pitfalls that could jeopardize someone’s safety and independence.

• Identify the remodeling that could assist someone in the home and keep that individual safer, and understand the value of cultivating and maintaining that human touch.

The program is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

Presenter: Suzanne McElroy, MSW of Home Instead Senior Care.

Please pre-register. RSVP online www.jfswm.org or call 413.737.2601.

The workshop will be held at the JFS Community Room, 1160 Dickinson Street, Springfield, MA, (parking lot is on the Converse Street side). For other upcoming events, visit www.jfswm.org.
