Become a Volunteer! There are many ways to connect with the JFS Community. You can get involved by volunteering in one of the following ways:

Bear Witness

For the JFS Refugee Resettlement Program you can bear witness and help us welcome a new family at the airport when they arrive. 

(Those who like a late night adventure only!) Once a year for 2 hours, or as often as you like

Bikes are Us

Help us find donated bicycles for new immigrant families. A special benefit is the joy of working with JFS Board Member, Joe Dorison. As needed, approximately 12 hours a year
Side by Side

You can work side by side with JFS staff, behind the scenes, assisting with phone work and general office tasks.  Weekly for four hours 

Low Impact- High Yield

Put your good intentions to use with some low-impact, high-yield volunteer projects you can do in the comfort of your own home. These projects will be tailored to your interests; like designing a poster, invitation or brochure. Once a month for 4 hours  

Through your Eyes 

Have you always wanted to get behind a video camera, still camera or write stories for a good cause? Help JFS tell its stories in pictures, videos and in print. Occasionally, or once a month for 4 hours

For the Techi, or Want-to-be

Apply your skills or learn, simple maintenance for the JFS website or Facebook pages. Weekly for 2 hours

Stepping Out Volunteer Coordinator

Do you love the idea of making it possible for people to contribute their time for JFS?  The JFS Stepping Out Volunteer Coordinator will do just that! Weekly for 5 hours
