Help Welcome Refugees

When you donate new or gently used items to JFS, you are helping refugees to feel welcome and at home! The impact of these donations is immeasurable. Your donations are not only helping to furnish apartments for newly arriving families, you are helping these families know there is a support system here for them, with a community that came together to create homes for them prior to their arrival.

What We Need

Visit our Amazon WISHLIST to purchase items for newly arriving refugees. We are continually updating this list. Items we are always looking for include fire extinguishers (needed for every apartment), toiletries, and more. Please designate delivery to JFS, 15 Lenox Street, Springfield, MA 01008, and fill out the Amazon gift receipt with your order so that we can thank you!

To donate new or gently used items*, please refer to the list below of items we need and that we are currently accepting.  This list includes the items that we supply to every family upon their arrival. If the items you would like to donate are on this list, please fill out and submit the form below, and we will contact you as soon as possible to facilitate your donation. If you do not hear from us within 10 days, please contact Nina Echols at n.echols@jfswm.org, or JFS at info@jfswm.org.

*Currently we are not accepting donations of clothing.

Please understand that our capacity to arrange for the pick-up of donated goods is limited. Once or twice a month we hire two assistants to help with pre-arranged pick-ups. Pre-arranged drop off of goods is greatly appreciated.
