Our “In-Kind” volunteers assist us with sorting the many donated goods we receive from the community. They come in for two or three hour shifts weekly. These volunteers are an incredible asset, and have helped transform our basement into an organized place. Not only that, when we have a family arriving in a matter of 24 hours, they are able to switch gears to quickly prepare items to furnish entire apartments, allowing the movers to pick up and meet our deadlines. In-kind donation volunteers are heroes of the office–working behind the scenes to make resettlement possible.
