The need for digital literacy skills and tech access has never been greater. JFS has purchased over 110 Chromebooks and tablets for refugees and helped them get online, learn basic but critical tech skills, and get into online classes, access healthcare, and start learning skills to succeed. Staff have been conducting home visits for more than a year to bridge the gap between refugee learners, students, parents, caretakers, and workers – and online opportunities.
