Guardianship and Conservatorship Services

When your loved one is no longer able to care for themselves and/or their finances, we work closely with the legal system to step in when the time comes.

Guardianship

We are the only agency in Western Massachusetts that provides elder guardianship services.  Sometimes an elder has no family or family is unable to assume the role of guardian.  Or an elder is frail and vulnerable and needs protection.  We work with the legal system to make sure an elders needs are met and they can live with dignity and respect.

Conservatorship

When an elder is no longer able to care for their finances we are prepared to be appointed by the court to become conservator of an estate.  We will work to locate and marshall assets, protect assets and work with professionals to make sure the elder's needs are met.
