Help Welcome Refugees

Welcoming the Stranger

Join us to help make Western Massachusetts home for New Americans! The JFS refugee resettlement program assists refugees as they begin a new life in our community.

Experience the JOY of helping a refugee family start a new life on the path to independence when you:

  • Donate household goods
  • Mobilize your congregation and community
  • Sponsor an individual family
  • Educate and advocate
  • Organize a fundraising or goods drive (contact us to find out what we need)

What We Need

We are urgently restocking our inventory to allow us to furnish apartments for new refugee arrivals. JFS receives very short notice, sometimes only 12 hours before pick up at the airport, and therefore need to have supplies on hand.

Please help us fill our storerooms by purchasing items from our WISHLIST. Click on the Amazon link below, and designate delivery to JFS, 15 Lenox Street, Springfield, MA 01108. Please fill out a gift receipt with you order so that we can thank you!

At this point (April 2021), we are not accepting clothing for men, women, or children
