Serving New Americans

Behavioral Health Services for New Americans

  • Refugee Mental Health Cultural Broker Community Support Program: CSP provides behavioral health support for refugees including individualized intensive community support services. Each individual or family is paired with a trained case worker who speaks their language and understands their culture. Our multicultural staff works closely with community providers (medical and mental health professionals, transitional assistance agencies, educators, public safety organizations, etc.) linking resources and developing a comprehensive service plan.
  • In-Home Therapy for Youth and their Families: Our staff in the specialized In-Home Therapy Program are culturally and linguistically able to respond to the specific needs of refugee youth, have a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges that refugee families face and help connect families with community resources and promote cultural adaptation. This strength-based, family-centered program serves youth under the age of 21 who are struggling with behavioral or emotional challenges. We work in partnership with parents to help solve problems both the youth and parents have identified and wish to see changed.
  • Therapeutic Mentoring Program (for Refugee Youth and Families)
