In partnership with Rachel’s Table, our Essen-tials Program provides support to those who observe kashrut laws and are food insecure. Our recent Essen-tials food distribution highlighted the holiday of Shavuot, one of the original harvest festivals. We delivered 38 food bags to 36 households in the Upper and Lower Valleys. Each bag contained dairy products including butter, cream cheese and blintzes, in addition to oranges, rice, beans, bagels, chicken and ground beef. Thank you to our staff, volunteers, and donors who make this program possible.
