We began 2022 with 16 HOST teams that came together to support newly arriving refugees. The HOST teams worked intensively with families to help them with medical appointments, school registration, employment opportunities, housing issues, public benefits, and many more day to day needs. Each group helped families for at least 10 months, until the families were stable enough to become independent. Once families are independent, HOST teams continue to be a valuable resource, providing help when needed, and all important friendship. The feedback from the families served has been overwhelmingly positive!
